Princeton University Library's professional Digital Studio is comprised of a talented team of full-time photographers and technicians. Part of the Library's Information Technology (IT) department, their work enables patrons and collaborators to virtually research and explore items from PUL's vast holdings. In order to obtain digital images suitable for scholarly research, the Digital Studio follows its best practices, utilizes complex digital camera systems, and works with scientific imaging vendors to provide opportunities for specialized photography, including outputs from the Selene Photometric Stereo System, Multispectral Imaging (MSI), and Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI).
