Search Functionality in DPUL
DPUL provides users the ability to initiate site-wide, collection-specific, sub-collection, and item-level searches for keywords in optical character recognition (OCR) text as well as in bibliographic descriptions by using the various search boxes (outlined in orange here) available to you on this site. Term grouping via quotations and basic Boolean operators (such as "and", "or", "not") are also supported.
Search within all exhibits in DPUL
You can initiate a site-wide, cross-exhibition search for keywords in text as well as in bibliographic descriptions by using the search box on the DPUL home page.
Search within an exhibit or browse category
Search within an exhibit: You can search for keywords in text as well as in bibliographic descriptions by using the search box to the right of the main menu bar.
Search within a Browse category: You can search for keywords in text as well as in bibliographic descriptions by using the box below the Brose Category title and description.
Search within an exhibit item
You can search for keywords in OCR text via the search box at the bottom center of the image viewer for an item.
