Heather Hyde Minor

Professor, University of Notre Dame

Heather Hyde Minor is a historian of seventeenth- and eighteenth-century art and architecture with special interests in Rome, the intellectual history of art history, and prints and print culture. An expert on Piranesi, her many publications on the artist include Piranesi's Lost Words (Penn State Press, 2015). Her book, The Culture of Architecture in Enlightenment Rome (Penn State Press, 2010), won the Helen and Howard R. Marraro Prize in Italian History and an honorable mention for the Alice Davis Hitchcock Book Award from the Society of Architectural Historians.

Carolyn Yerkes

Associate Professor, Princeton University

Carolyn Yerkes is a historian of early modern architecture. Her first book, Drawing after Architecture: Renaissance Architectural Drawings and Their Reception (Marsilio, 2017), examines the nature of architectural evidence by asking how Renaissance architects used drawings to explore structures,to create biographies, and to write history. It was awarded the James Ackerman Prize in the History of Architecture and was a finalist for the 2019 Charles Rufus Morey Book Award from the College Art Association.
