The plates bear no signatures nor any other lettering, except in the case of the first where Blake has lightly engraved in reversed writing: "The Whirlwind of Lovers from Dante's Inferno Canto V."
Issued by Linnell, after Blake's death, as loose leaves accompanied by a printed label.
