Description:

• Double-sided scrapbook card, Entrance to Potter Grounds on verso. Howell view, 1868-72 period, showing Prospect gateway. This was later moved back several yards in 1890. Originally it stood quite near the east wall of Murray Hall (1879). Note elms lining Prospect driveway and the fencing that defined the boundary of “Potter’s Grounds” and the college.
