Abstract:

• Contains a Spanish-Tzutuhil dictionary and phrase book, 18th c. Text in several hands, two columns, and not in strict alphabetical order (pp. 1-114). Together with Spanish religious choral music for alto, tenor, basso. Includes "Villaçico de San Pedro" (Christmas carol for St. Peter), a second carol (untitled), and another work with text beginning "Sube triunphante Señora..." (pp. 115-122, 126-128). Also includes pen-and-ink drawings of Christian subjects, 19th c.? (pp. 124-125).
