  • The first two and last two folios comprise a broadside printed indulgence measuring approximately 32 x 43 cm. with a heading that includes the years 1798 and 1799. Text was written on the blank verso. Pagination begins following the 2 leaves of printed indulgences.

Abstract:
  • The first part of the manuscript consists of a Mayan translation of the Passion, followed by instructions for the Mass. The second part of the manuscript consists of a record of deaths in Teabo, Yucatàn, beginning with an entry dated Nov. 22, 1803 and ending with one dated Oct. 6, 1875. Balthasar Mutul and Juan Tomas Mutul are mentioned. Folio 2 is inscribed "Teabo - Cayam Batab." Christian names written in Spanish. The death records on the final pages are from the Maya town of Teabo. The manuscript likely originated from this town.
