Abstract:

• Consists of financial accounts of the confradía de San Nicolás in Sacapulas, dating from Apr. 17, 1663 - Aug. 29, 1852. A typical entry (May 11, 1802) certifies that the outgoing mayordomos are turning over exactly 502 [tostones?] to the new administration. Other entries list expenditures for particular fiestas and other cult duties. Also includes some transcriptions of legal documents in K'iche'. Some later accounts in Spanish.
