- Garrett MS. 136 is of unknown early provenance. Various unidentified dealer's markings appear on fols. i verso and ii recto. Robert Garrett (1875-1961), of Baltimore, Maryland, Class of 1897, purchased the manuscript from the London antiquarian bookseller Bernard Quaritch on 1 October 1905. His gift to the Princeton University Library, 1942.
