- Layout: 49 lines per page in two columns.
- Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (later endpapers only).
- Decoration: 71 decorated initials of 2-7 lines and 74 historiated initials of 5-7 lines. Both decorative and historiated initials have short stems often used as platforms for birds, animals, and hybrids. Turquoise blue, pink, maroon, orange, and gold are the principal colors. 2-line initials in alternately blue or red, with pen-flourishes of both colors for chapters, and regular psalms. - Early ownership is unknown. Early modern ownership inscription erased. Intermediate provenance unknown. Unidentified dealer's marks are present. Owned by George E. Leighton. The manuscript was auctioned in New York on 25 April 1929 where it was acquired by Senator David Aiken Reed, Princeton Class of 1900, and was no. 3 in his collection. In 1953, his widow, Edna French Reed, donated the manuscript to the Princeton University Library, where it was accessioned in 1953 as AM 15461a.
