- Description:

- Script: Textualis rotunda. One scribe was responsible for fols. 1r-94v, and another for fol. 95r. In the bottom margin of fols. 67v and 69r are erased prayers in another hand.
- Decoration: Italian Gothic (Neapolitan?), early 14th century.
- Binding note:
-
- United States, 20th century. The present manuscript was unbound when received by the Princeton University Library from the donor in the late 19th century. Bound in 1996 by Scott Husby in the Preservation Office, using existing modern foliation written in pencil in the lower right margins.
- Provenance:
-
- Princeton MS. 7 is of unknown early and intermediate provenance. The manuscript was produced in Italy, possibly Naples, for the use of a bishop. Judging from the Spanish text added on fol. 95r, the manuscript found its way to Spain or into the hands of a Spanish cleric by the 15th century. Moses Taylor Pyne (1855-1921), Class of 1877, acquired the manuscript in the late 19th century and donated it to the Princeton University Library, although it was not formally accessioned until 5 June 1905 (Acc. no. 192374).
