- Princeton MS. 211 is of unknown early and intermediate provenance. There is an 18th-century inscription on the dorse, at the top of the chronicle roll: “Genealogies of the Kings of England, MS. 1380.” Modern annotation in pencil, “RT42.” The roll appears to have been in the antiquarian bookmarket since the early 1970s. On 4 June 2008 the roll was sold at Christie's, London. It was purchased by Sandra Hindman (Les Enluminures, Paris, Chicago), who sold it to the Princeton University Library in 2009 (Acc. no. 2009-80).
