  • Manuscript memorandum recording the names of members of Council 'For the Repeal,' (31 names) 'Against the Repeal' (48) and 'Doubtful.' (9).
  • Added at the bottom of the column 'Against' is this note 'And all the lawyers in the House of Commons except Sergeant Hewitt and Mr. Hussey. The Master of the Roll's sentiments are not known. Mr. Charles York is thought to be against the Repeal, at least doubtful.'
