- Abstract:
-
- Subjects range from indigenous rights movements to local culture and handicrafts, indigenous women, political and legal activities and organizations, territory and homeland. The organizations that contributed the materials are concerned with the indigenous populations of the Andes in Bolivia, especially the Aymara, Quechua and Guarani. Material is sourced from across Bolivia, including the cities of La Paz, Sucre and Tarija, and the department of Beni. The relationship between land development and rural campesino peasants is also a facet of the collection.
