- Part four of the Vanities of the World, originally written by the Franciscan monk Diego de Estella (Didacus Stella, d. 1578) in Spanish, was translated into Arabic by A.M. Corjade and Antonius al-Baduwani. This volume on Christian ethics was produced at the second Arabic movable type press established in the Islamic world, located at the Monastery of St. John the Baptist in Shuwayr, Lebanon.
