Curatorial Note:
  • Printed by the Medici Press in 1592, this book teaches the reader the Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, and grammar. Following this section are Arabic sentences, the study of which is aided by Latin explanation and translation. The last section of this book is devoted to a Syriac grammar, with similar explanations of the alphabet, grammar, and sentences. The Syriac passages at the end of this book are translated into Latin and Hebrew.
