Curatorial Note:
  • The first Arabic press in the Islamic world was established by Athanasius III Dabbās, the Melkite Patriarch of Antioch, in Aleppo. The press printed Christian works from 1706 to 1711. This text, on confession and repentance, was written by Athanasius, and it appears to have been the last book printed at his press.
