Description:

• Collation: Paper ; fol. 266 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
• Description: Rubricated ; vowel signs ; watermarks (palm?, fleur-de-lis) ; MS in fair condition.
• Interlinear Arabic and Turkish notes throughout. Incomplete at beginning and commences with six lines of Turkish in which appears the name Mirqāt al-lughah. According to Ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), V, p. 497 the anonymous author has drawn on al-Ṣiḥāḥ of al-Jawharī and al-Qāmūs of al-Fīrūzābādī. On inside of front cover is some stray text. After the colophon occurs the Arabic alphabet with their numerical equivalents.
