- Publisher's advertisements on pages [61]-64 of volume 1 and on 2 pages at end of volume 2, the latter indicating that the third volume was an afterthought and Ryland "proposes, with all convenient Expedition, to compleat this Undertaking in one more Volume."
- Illustrations: 30 engraved leaves, each depicting a London crier or street vendor, accompanying verse descriptions on facing letterpress pages.
- Frontispiece to volume 1 is a portrait of the actor Ned Shuter (d. 1776). Plate I of vol. II "Buy a new Almanack" makes reference to the Stationer's Almanack, the 1750 edition of which was published by Edward Ryland.
