- Description:
-
- At head of title: The new game
- A game in which each player begins as a civilian, enlists in the army, and advances through the military ranks. The first one to reach the rank of Commander-in-Chief wins the game.
- The accompanying illustrated cards depict various soldiers of different specialties and ranks.
- Earl Roberts, pictured on the board, was appointed Commander-in-Chief in 1901. The office of Commander-in-Chief was abolished in 1904. Therefore, this game was probably published between those years.
- Head of Edward VII appears on coin on "3" and he and Queen Alexandra appear to be depicted on 87.
