Abstract:

• Digital image of an autograph document consisting of a modern compilation of genealogical and historical information on the Ismāʻīlī daʻwa in Badakhshan drawn from a series of historical documents as well as modern scholarship. The text gives particular attention to the figure of Sayyid Suhrāb Valī and his lineages, and a large portion of the text appears to be derived from earlier texts that were produced within this lineage.

• Incipit: Хонандагони мухтарам, каме дар бораи гирдоварандаи ин авлоднома аз хаёт, саргузашти ин шахс ахбор пешкаши Шумоён гардонам.
• Explicit: Рубои: Ин дасти ман аз хок аст, агар хок шавад рузе, Ин номи ман аз олам хам пок шавад рузе, Хар кас, ки маро донад ин хатти маро хонад, Шояд, ки кунад ёдам, гамнок шавад рузе.
• The document is bound within a school notebook that contains an illustration on the cover, but this is not a part of or related to the text itself.
• Original document is a modern, typed booklet in good condition. Some minor wear and staining are present, but this does not affect the legibility of the text. Although the language is Tajiki it was apparently typed on a Cyrillic keyboard that did not contain the special characters for Tajiki.
