Abstract:

• Digital image of a document in two parts. The first part consists of an introduction written by Abusaid Shokhumorov, in which he discusses the figure of Shohi Koshon and his legacy in Badakhshan, and reviews some of the available source material on him. The second part of the document is a Tajiki transcription of a nasabnoma of Shohi Koshon which is dated to Rabīʿ al-thānī 1,000 (19 January 1592)/ This document is ascribed by Shokhumorov to a descendant of Shohi Koshon, Said Sulton Muhammad son of Said Mehrali.
